Jammy Jams Lulabylooza 90s alternative goes lullaby

I received this product for free to review via tomoson.com

OK I got this CD yesterday and listened to every song, they are definitely Lullaby versions of black hole sun, creep, a girl like you, champagne supernova, in the meantime, Friday I'm in love, easy, about a girl, possibly kingdom and bird dream of the Olympus Mons. The melodies are easily recognizable and they are great songs. That being said though the question remains, are they great lullaby's? Of that well, I'm not exactly sure. You see by knowing the songs it puts another dimension in to the equation and while traditional lullaby's aren't exactly uplifting themselves and sometimes more than a bit disturbing, I never really noticed just how depressing these particular songs made me before. On the other hand they are far more complex than your normal lullaby and if these songs aren't to your tastes Jammy Jams does offer a ton of other options for your grown up music turned lullaby pleasure and it proves you don't have to quit jamming out once you have a little one you can just pump some soft core versions of your hard core favorites right into your little ones head. There are no lyrics so you don't have to worry if the first sentence they are going to say is "where were you while we were getting high" lol. In any case at least you won't have barney stuck in your head because you lulled your kid to sleep with it. Its a very cool idea and if you would like to grab your own copy (digital or physical CD) you can do so here.
