OK this toy is really cute! There are some things to keep in mind though... I tested this toy out because I have multiple children so I was wondering how much trouble this was going to cause. The batteries screw in which you know is kind of a pain but a huge bonus in the long run since the kids can't take out the batteries themselves. The projection works great, its easy to focus it with the arm of the T-rex and the on and off button is easy to use. Its cool that they store the disks inside the back of him too but the latch is a little hard for me to get open so I'm hoping they will be able to do it themselves. I know this toy is supposed to be mostly just standing there while you use the features of it but kids tend to actually play with toys and well one of mine likes being mean to his brothers so... The claws on the feet are a bit sharp and could stand to be filed a bit. And aside from the focus arm for the projector the jaw is the only other part that really moves. It can bite. Not just fingers inside the mouth either pretty much anything that you put it near. Of course the jaw doesn't move on its own and uncreative mean kids could simply use it as a blunt object but I also worry about potential Dino attack play potentially leaving real bite marks and bruising. The Dino alarm feature is pretty cool too it roars in a few different ways but keep in mind if the feature is turned on it will continuously make partial roaring sounds as long as the toy is in motion which could definitely get annoying fairly quickly. The disks also are a bit difficult to get in and out of the projection slot. I'm kinda going to have to recommend this for older children or those without siblings or as a great gift for someone else's kids. I do think mine are going to have a lot of fun with this and heck I may too (already thinking of setting it up outside the hall to scare the heck out of them if they decide to sneak out of their room at night before giving it to them) the pictures of the dinosaurs are cool but I do wish it said the names on the image so I don't have to look it up every time they ask "what kind is that one" I recommend grabbing some rechargeable batteries to go with this one too. I will be adding some pictures and videos later but as I've just finished checking it out myself... I figured I should go ahead and post this. Hey everyone!
Now this one I'm doing for a very awesome company so if you want the businesses you deal with to have a social conscience this is a good one! See they actually do a lot of work for people with PTSD. They evem have a program that helps people deal with it so that's just awesome! The product in question is pretty freaking cool all by itself too. I was going to do a video with it showing how crazy heat resistant they are but I have been dealing with an abscessed tooth and am in a lot of pain so you'll have to take my word for it for now. The first thing I did with it was used it in place of a spatula when browning beef just cause I could. I also used them to drain spaghetti in the pot. My only issue with them is I couldn't take a pot lid off with them on so unfortunately I can't toss my old potholders in favor of these but hey I can grab a baked potato out of the oven and that's good enough for me! Hey everyone! Its giveaway time!! And this one is a good one too!! If you have little ones you know there's never an end to the bedtime storytelling. We love it too of course but sometimes your throat gets sore. This reading app is so cool! There are tons of stories at many different reading

levels and there are options to either read it yourself on your own, have it read the stories aloud to you while you turn the pages or to read the entire book automatically. They are beautifully illustrated too and the kids can save their favorites to read over and over again. infuser water bottle

Hey everyone. So you may have noticed I don't drink water. Its not so much don't as usually I can't. Its just gross. It makes my mouth feel dry which makes me gag and its just all around unpleasant. Not to mention if I force myself to drink it I get headaches from the caffeine withdrawal. But its mostly the grossness. I'm also not into flavored waters really but this is different. You put fruit on the little container to flavor the water naturally. I used cucumber the first few times and let me tell you it is an entirely new experience.

It just taste so sweet and fresh you forget you are drinking water at all. Today I am using some frozen strawberries I have on hand. I know there are tons of this type of infuser bottle out there but this one is cool. It holds the fruit close to where the water comes out but has just tiny holes so you don't get pieces of fruit stuck in the straw thing. Though its so close its also held apart from the opening so its never blocked. It doesn't even hold much inside but it doesn't really need to. About 1\8 of a small cucumber or 3 strawberries maxes it out. I cut mine up before putting them in. With some things there is a light flavor instantly but with out here you need to give it some time to really infuse. I have definitely been drinking more water because of this. It's kind of a treat really. And I do feel better actually getting more water down not loaded with sugar and caffeine. Its easy to clean too just dump the fruit container out and throw it in the dishwasher. Its screws in easily to the cap too. Also seems durable considering my kids were throwing it around for 2 days before I actually got anything to put in it. Has a nifty little handle too the spout pulls out of it. Bath pillow by simply essentials

Hey everyone! Well I'm actually late on getting this one out. Now let me start out by saying I have a garden tub so it may be part of the problem. I like reading in the tub and just relaxing sometimes. Comes from having three kids and no time for myself I suppose so I was excited about this as I thought it would make it and even more relaxing experience. So I even put off my bath for an extra day despite severely needing the relaxation for my back because I wanted it to be even better. So I finally got it and went in to take a bath, ran it, grabbed a book my mod and this pillow and hopped in.

I stuck it on the wall with the fat part down first thinking it would cradle my head, instead it pushed my head down at an uncomfortable angle. I proceeded to remove it and change the position and not only did one of the suction cups continue to pop out every time I removed the thing but I couldnt find any position in which using the pillow made me any more comfortable. In fact using the pillow constantly made me more uncomfortable. I ended up giving up on it and trying to read my book (now more stressed than before) which truly sucked as well so I gave up on the bath all together. I've since tried to find anywhere I could use it and nothing. I think if my tub were shorter it might have helped but since the one suction cup ended up getting lost I couldn't take it somewhere else for an additional test. When you get it, it smells bad. Sili Guy cell phone holder

Hey everyone! So this is another one that didn't exactly work out like I thought it would.

So what is it? The Sili guy is a cute little silicone cell phone holder that's shaped like you guessed it a guy. It's got some sort of metal wires inside so you can pose him so it will fit most cell phones. Now I thought I would be using it to watch youtube on my phone in the kitchen but since it only holds phones vertically its not great for watching videos on.

On the other hand I can still use it to listen to music will keeping my phone safely out of the way which makes cleaning up a lot more entertaining. However the best use I've found for it is actually in the car. I don't have the kind of radio you can hook your phone or mp3 to so I got one of those things that converts your phone to radio waves and use it that way. Unfortunately this means my phone tends to slide off the seat one way or another and unplugs itself from the thing lending me an ear full of static instead of my favorite songs. Plus the thing is a pain to get going again but with the siliguy I can hook him the cupholder and it holds my phone perfectly and I don't risk it falling out of the shallow cup holders them selves.

This has definitely made my car rides a lot more enjoyable and a little safer too (since I don't have to pay attention to the phone sliding everywhere.) So I like this cute little guy I just wish he could hold the phone both ways. If you'd like one for yourself you can pick it up here.

Hey everyone! So since this is just something I decided on a whim ( by whim I of course mean scouring through countless reviews and carefully deciding that this was something that was valuable to me and worth the money) to buy I figured with out a timeline I could really get a solid feel for it before writing. I know some of you have been waiting for quite awhile and I apologize. Anyway I usually start these with a back story of why I needed the product in question and this one is no different. I love TV but I hate cable. Like detest it. You pay outrageous amounts of money and what do you get really? A few shows you really enjoy, endless repeats of the same old movies, commercials, a huge bill, and 90% of the time you settle on watching something with the reasoning that despite having over 500 channels there is really nothing on that you want to watch and that's when its actually in good working order (ever notice the cable always goes out when your favorite show is on?) So for a really long time I had Netflix. I mean its a great price and there is tons to watch plus its all on demand with no commercials. My biggest issue with Netflix was there is no way to just pay for it. Its all automatic withdrawal and for me just happened to always fall whenever I had no money in the account so goodbye $7.00 tv hello $34.00 overdraft fee. It happened so often I decided to go with cable because at least I can pay that when I do have the money. Then of course the only shows I wanted to watch were on AMC HBO and showtime so hello huge bill every month for what 3 hours of quality programming a week (if that). Now I've been an amazon prime member for quite awhile and yes it comes with the free (sometimes) TV thing but it was hard to search for something on the PlayStation that was actually free so I never really got the full scope of the programming I was actually allotted. Now I have this issue. I tend to make big decisions suddenly when I'm angry. Happened with cable, then netflix, then cable, then Netflix, then cable. So why would I pay money to make use of a product that I have but never used before? (Seriously I've been a prime member since I've had children) well, it seemed to be a good buy I mean $99 to not have to use my PlayStation for everything and get away from cable? Heck the cable portion of my bill was higher than that per month! So I figured I'd give it a shot, after all we had two TVs and only one ps3 and the fire TV was definitely cheaper than another of those. When I got the thing I couldn't get over how ridiculously tiny it was. Especially compared to that moronic DVR that was the size of the combo VCR player/recorder/cdplayers that we had when big screen TVs were bigger than a bathroom! (Ahh projection bulky huge screen you could really only view from head on and quickly became a TV stand simply because tube replacement was too expensive to bother and its easier to simply move to another house then to trash the thing how I miss thee lol) seriously though its not much bigger than my phone.
Ease of install.
So have you ever gotten the diy cable kits in the mail? You save about 30 bucks and screw the thing in yourself which requires plugging the cord in and plugging it in and connecting the cable cord to the wall and the cable box (with the endless screwing where you can't really see and its awkward and uncomfortable) then connecting the cable box to the TV (with the HDMI cord if you are lucky or else its more screwing) and then about half the time they send faulty equipment just so they can still send their service tech out (and charge you twice btw once for when they shipped it and again for the guy coming out) such a headache! This though you just plug into the TV (HDMI) and the wall and its good to go. There isn't even a power button. You connect it to your internet wirelessly (one of the easiest things to connect to the internet btw sorry ps3 you are ridiculous) sign into your prime account and then you can just push a button and tell it what you want. Now still there is a lot you can get that is not free. However its pretty easy to find tons that is. It all has a ribbon on the corner of the icon that reads prime. There are parental controls (need a password to watch anything that may be suspect AND to buy anything OR change any settings) tons of movies and tv shows for everyone (and yes full series from beggining to end however some of the shows that are still running do have seasons you have to pay for if you want to watch it now but they have them available sooner than Netflix and its still cheaper than cable to buy a season of a show even if its every month ) also you can run pretty much any other streaming app (like Netflix or Hulu plus for example) right on it and it remembers your log in info. Plus there are tons of free games (albeit not the full spectrum of play store offerings no clash of clans yet) including games that you can play with a controller (sold separately I suggest the knock off to the amazon one though) there are even apps that mimic cable (to some extent anyway basically TV you can keep running) I am however disappointed that their prime music feature doesn't work on it yet though you can run Pandora and even YouTube their prime music really rocks and I anxiously await them throwing that into my television entertainment pleasure! So like Netflix it does offer suggestions based on what you watch and informs you of their newest prime offerings as well as suggesting movies based on one you are thinking about watching (like if you decide not to spend the money for lady and the tramp it will give you a whole slew of other Disney movies and some other cute cartoon or kids movies with talking animals) on the other hand unlike Netflix which sometimes has movies and shows you can have mailed to you for a separate monthly fee (and I do mean separate) that you have to wait for with amazon you can buy it (and own it and use it on anything that you can access amazon on demand from) and watch it right then and whenever you want. They even have tons of HBO programming which is NOT offered by any other service without cable so that is a huge bonus! So what have I spent all told? Well I've bought 2 of the fire tv boxes @$99 each plus 2 of the video game controllers one amazon one not for around $30 each plus my subscription to amazon prime which was $79 when I paid this year (may have gone up but whatever) so 300 bucks? (My cable alone was $100 a month) what do I get? Included with my subscription every year (because next year I won't need the boxes or controls again that's done with) I get for no additional cost free 2 day shipping (why I signed up in the first place) on most of what amazon sells, free books, free music, free TV, movies, and games. Plus is so easy my kids can use it (unlike cable) and most of all I'm let off of the leash cable had me on. Totally worth it!
