Phone wallet giveaway (closed)

I received this product for free to review.

Hey everyone I am not too bright. The camera on my tablet has been on the fritz lately and I... Well suffice it to say I have no pictures of this product in use. What it is basically is a silicone pocket you stick on your phone to hold little essentials and lighten your load. Great for going out especially if you are a woman as our clothes don't tend to allow for much storage and who wants to carry around a purse right? So usually its like in a boot or a boob all our randomness goes. Then it makes it easier to lose something or we could borrow our men's pockets cause you know they LOVE that! Anyway you just stick this on the back of your phone. Depends really on what kind of case you have whether this really will work for you. My case has a kickstand so I initially removed my case to try this out but then I couldn't use my cell phone holder in the car or prop my phone up so...
You kinda have to chose your tools. It did work really well at keeping stuff in it tightly. If you throw in your ID and a bit of cash, it isn't going anywhere. OTOH you could potentially mess up big time and lose everything just by misplacing your phone. On that note I removed mine but you don't have to. Also its a good place to keep unimportant stuff you can never find like store discount cards so you always have them easily on hand and its not the end of the world if you misplace your phone (though it totally is the end of the world if you can't find your phone) anyway I'm giving away 3 so totally enter below and share it with your friends you can all be prepared together. OTOH you could skip out on trying to WIN it for FREE and just buy it  here.

Francois et Mimi Vintage Double Wall French Press

I received this product for free to review.

Hey everyone. So I am no stranger to the French press. I had two before this one in fact. My first French press was purchased out of frustration actually. I was just tired of having to buy coffee filters, and spilling water trying to get it in the reservoir, the crazy amount of time it took to have the coffee finish and the nasty burnt taste you eventually get just by the coffee maker trying to keep the coffee warm until you can get around to drinking it. I even considered buying one of those expensive cup at a time coffee makers just so I could drink coffee in the morning.

Fortunately the French press solved all of that. The coffee brewed quickly, the nice big opening made pouring the hot water into it easy, I never got a burnt coffee taste as there was nothing heating it after the water was poured in. I could take my time and drink my coffee at my own pace. Bonus, I even figured out that I could change the strength of the coffee by changing the grind even up to an espresso like consistency. The only problems I've had with my other French press's were that well the first one was very cheap and ugly. The second one was much more expensive so not as ugly but being that they are both made from relatively thin glass they lose heat rather quickly. That was the deal breaker with this French press. The double wall stainless steel pot is not only gorgeous and more durable than either of my glass models but it actually keeps the coffee hot without the outside of the pot getting hot which is much more than I can say for the others. Seriously, 2 hours later it was still hot after adding cold milk, 4 hours later it was still warm even after adding milk. I know most people will have drank the 5 or 6 cups of coffee you get from this well before this time but by myself I generally drink the pot over the course of the day and not all at once. Because the coffee isn't scorched any leftovers can be saved either frozen in ice cube trays for great iced coffee drinks or in the fridge to use in stews. I really love this French Press! If you'd like to pick one up yourself you can do so here.

Pick Geek Guitar and Bass pick set

I received this product for free to review.

Hey everyone. Now I am not a music person but my niece is in a band and I think these guitar picks are just awesome looking. I love the box they come in, and the tins they are in and the picks themselves are just freaking awesome. Instead of my normal review I asked my niece to come and check them out with me and the results were ... Well... Yeah just watch.

18 Inch Microfiber Mop Pads

I received this product for free to review.

Hey everyone. I was pretty excited to get these extra mop pads for my new mop, I mean who doesn't love extra mop pads? So when I got them I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. Why? Well with these actually costing $1 more than the actual replacements directly from the company who I bought my mop from I expected some type of improvement. These seemed cheap. They were thinner and not as long as the originals either and being slightly rounded meant the corners of my mop actually stuck out over the mop pad. I measured it and it turns out these pads are actually 18 inches long, as is my mop base but the original pads are actually 20" long leaving some overhang. Despite my reservations I tried out the new pads the same way I normally clean my floor and it didn't feel the same. It was dragging and I had to work a lot harder to get it clean.
 Theirs on left
 Theirs on top

My normal method is spraying the floor with my favorite cleaner and then mopping it up. After contacting the company who made these, they informed me that these pads were made different than most microfiber pads and were actually meant to be used wetter. I tried that out and the pads did work better but my floors were left wet and I felt as if they weren't really clean, like I was just rubbing water over them and then leaving the dirty water on the floor instead of soaking it up. To make matters worse afterward I noticed another problem with the wet mop method. The adhesive that holds the Velcro strips on my mop started coming loose as it is not meant to be wet. Perhaps these are meant for a model of mop I don't have but in any case this time I think I will stick with the original mop pads and if I need extras I will buy them from there. If you would like to try these out yourselves you can pick them up here. Comment and let me know if they worked better for you.

Supernova 300 Ultra Bright LED Camping Lantern

I received this product for free to review.

Hey everyone! Sorry I misplaced this one earlier but this is for a pretty cool kinda multi function lantern.
The way it works is there is a handle on top,
a hook on the bottom,
the plastic light encasing can be removed for a more focused light.
It has a regular, bright and blinky function too
so it can work as an emergency beacon or provide light to fix your car or hang from your tent or be carried around to light your way. I don't like that it takes 3 D batteries and wish it was rechargeable instead, or at least as well as taking the batteries because it is a camp light and I suppose its best to be able to switch them out on a whim. The green color is kinda counterintuitive because it would make it harder to find when it isn't on. Its also a little weird the way the battery cover goes on.

You can only put it on one way which means you most likely need light to do so. Otoh despite using it for over a month quite often as two rooms in my house don't have lights, the battery is still going strong. If you would like to pick one up for yourself you can do so here.

Pulse Bluetooth Shower Speaker Giveaway!

I received this product for free to review.

Hey everyone! So I have been wanting a shower speaker for quite awhile now. I imagined singing to my favorite songs as the water splashes over me washing away the stress of the day. Ironically that's not how I've actually used it at all. In fact my first try with the speaker I really just needed to relax and unwind. It had been field day at my kids school and I volunteered despite not knowing really what field day was. To make matters worse I was the only parent in the kindergarten (3 classes) that actually didn't bring any of my other kids and pitched in instead of adding to the burden. Needless to say, I was beat. Both mentally and physically so I took a page out of my kindergarten teachers book and picked up some classical music (free with my amazon prime membership) and hooked the pulse up so I could play it while I melted in a hot bath. It was great! I didn't even have to set up a playlist.

If I wanted to skip a song I could easily do so or replay a song without getting out or dripping on my tablet. About 20 minutes in my husband came in and pointed out that if you press near the power button, it actually puts out a really cool light show as well. So I could really just turn out the lights and relax with soothing music and interesting visuals. The next stroke of genius was playing the classical music while my kids were taking a bath. I was really amazed with the difference in their behavior with just a little background music.
The entire bath experience has been drastically improved and I can honestly say this speaker is being enjoyed by the whole family. Even my husband uses it in the shower, he likes how he can switch songs whenever he wants. It comes with the industry standard charger and a surprisingly strong suction cup to fasten it right on the wall even the case it comes in in a nice reusable hard plastic one. Mine is green but it comes in a variety of colors. I've actually been given the opportunity to give one away to you guys so just enter below or you can pick one up here. Or here if you aren't into amazon.

Berry Sleepy

I received this product for free to review.

Hey everyone! So I know we all sometimes have sleepless nights. I straight up have insomnia so I jumped at the chance to try this supplement. Basically the company went out and found all of the natural plant sources for all of the different sleepy time substances on the market and jammed them in a capsule. I honestly stared at the pills for way to many days to count. Not only are they multi supplement pills but they are huge and you have to take two. I was a little paranoid that I would have trouble sleeping and being the only person up would take these, choke on them and be sleeping forever. If you wonder why I can't sleep at night, there you go. Could you sleep with a brain like mine? Eventually I resolved to simply eating the contents of the pills which weren't all that bad at first but the aftertaste was killer and I wouldn't recommend doing that. I did conk out about 50 minutes later though and I didn't have trouble waking in the morning. This is a flash giveaway. There are only 24 hours left to enter to win a bottle for yourself and the winner will be known tomorrow. You can also pick up a bottle here.

FitLifestyleCo yoga mat, towel combo + Giveaway

I received this product for free to review.

Hey everyone. So I have been doing yoga for wow like 4 years on and off and I never had a yoga mat. Most of them just don't seem worth the price for a thin piece of foam. When I got the opportunity to check this one out, I jumped at it though.
It is practically an accessory free yoga mat. The material on the top is absorbant and so it works like a towel, without having a separate piece that can slip you up. Form is something that is very important in yoga and Pilate's. A lot of the time the instructor references a position on your mat to describe how exactly you are meant to be positioned.
I've noticed since using this mat I've been finding the poses easier and focusining on the area they are supposed to. To top it off this mat is beautiful. Very zen to look at, it also comes with a carry strap which I have used to help me stretch and hold poses longer\ correctly. Sorry, I actually can't find my strap SMH the kids like playing with it too. This is also a giveaway so make sure you check out below and enter *disclaimer I don't think this is a FREE giveaway, I am pretty sure it will cost you $1 or $2 if you win. You can always just pick one up here too.

Frogglez Goggles + Giveaway

I received this product for free to review.

Hey everyone! So I posted a video about this several days ago so you know what's coming. These are just awesome. I hate trying to put on goggles for the kids. They are a pain to get on and just uncomfortable and well it is just plain silly that it took so many years for someone to finally innovate it.

He got it right too, these are just smart. Basically the strap is made from neoprene (wet suit material) so stretches on really well without pinching pulling or being too tight while still holding the eyeware firmly enough to keep the water out. The kids like them so much they play with them on around the house without even playing in water. Heck they are so easy and comfortable I'll bet they would be good for other fun water activities like water balloons or squirt guns or even blowing bubbles if your kids have the luck mine do. I love them myself and would actually wear them which is definitely more than I can say for the old school kind. The video really covered a lot of what I was going to say, so watch it here:
and enter below for your chance to win a pair. Alternatively, you could buy a set here.
