Hey everyone! Let me start of by saying this workout program specifically targets people age 50+ which being 30 is perfect for me given a lot of the exercise programs I've tried I simply cannot do because it hurts my back or knees and some of it makes you feel bad if you can't do it.

I am really enjoying this program. Most of the workout is low impact but you can still feel it working your muscles and getting your heart going. The words and music were recorded over the video so you can always hear the instructor clearly though she is never pushy and often asks you to evaluate your condition and reminds you that you can take a break any time which I think is lovely. I've tried many workout programs in the past that once I get a few minutes into it I feel like I'm dying trying to keep up and I eventually stop trying which is no good. There is a lot of focus on stretching and range of motion and in some muscle groups that are generally avoided as well. In like how I can get a decent workout in, feel as though I have accomplished something and not hurt in places I shouldn't afterward.

The music fits well with the exercises being slower for the warm up and cool down phases and more upbeat for the main workout. It also comes with a booklet that has lots of nifty forms from questionnaires to see if you should ask your doctor before starting and charts that tell you what your target heart rate is based on your age and how to find out in case you aren't in the age groups listed.

There are also charts to track your progress, set personal goals, and an easy to follow schedule so you can make sure to get your full workout with days off too. My only criticism would be that it is my personal preference to also hear what I am supposed to be doing next instead of always having to watch the screen or remember. I do think this is great for anyone looking to start exercising especially if other programs are too much for you. The program comes with 4 DVDs and the workbook.

Morning Pep Xylitol and giveaway (closed)

Hey everyone. Now I really hate artificial sweeteners. I avoid them adamantly in everything which is surprisingly hard to do they sneak that stuff in everywhere anymore. However I am also a sugar feind and since my teeth have been acting up lately I decided to try some xylitol since I used to get these mints all the time back in the day that I loved and they were made with it.

As a big warning if you go from sugar to this there is an adjustment period in your stomach. I think it has as much to do with the fact that the bad stuff is starving and wanting to get out as anything else but that is just my theory. Good news is it does go away. As for the dog thing, I see a lot of people saying if it is so bad for dogs its bad for people too but there are a lot of things that are fine for us that dogs can't eat. Anyway moving on I freaking love xylitol. It taste like cold sugar. It is a bad idea to directly replace your sugar with this right away because of stomach issues but man I like it better than sugar. It makes my mouth feel cleaner every time I use it. I've even made my own mouthwash with it. Did you know Listerine has artificial sweeteners? Seems counter productive to me. Anyway back to this particular Xylitol. This brand is not the cheapest out there but if you are worried about gmo's and knowing what is in your food that is probably a good thing because well, GMOs are cheaper. Taste wise, it doesnt taste  any different than any other xylitol I've had. Then again i could never tell a difference with any sugar brands either. Now it says the consistency is the same as sugar but unless you are talking about raw sugar that's not really true, these grains are bigger but it does dissolve faster in cold water than sugar does. I like how they carry three sizes because people have different storage and sweetener needs and its nice to know that you can get a little one pound bag up to a big 5 pound bag. I say give them a shot. Its way good stuff. I'm planning on phasing out my sugar intake completely and probably even making my own mints and toothpaste with it as well. You can't bake bread with it though cause the yeast can't eat it but I've used it in my coffee and tea (most of my added sugar intake right there) and I can tell the difference but only because it feels a bit colder and makes my mouth feel cleaner and wetter than sugar does. Welcome back! Honestly you haven't really seen anything because off camera I went to the bathroom where there is an actual mirror and continued straightening my hair. I can't stop touching it!!! It is so silky and smooth. I really didn't know how awful my hair was before and keep in mind this is with no product! When I say no product I mean it I haven't used anything but water on my hair in the past 2 months (If you want to hear more about that, let me know in the comments!) This just like glides through and makes my hair look fancy.

I guess this is what I was missing when I wondered why everyone's hair was so much nicer than mine. I'm still shocked at the huge difference it made given I have fairly straight hair to begin with. I'm dumb and didn't snap a legitimate before shot (unless you count in the video of course) so I'm going to grab a stock photo of me with my hair looking "nice" and compare it to my hair after using this awesome straightener!! BTW they also come in different colors in case you want something a little more club worthy than black. The way the bag that comes with it is, it looks like it would be perfect for when girls get together before going out to get all done up together. I imagine all your hair stuff would fit inside (within reason) and still have the full size flat iron instead of the rinky-dink purse size model. Wow it's been 2 days and my hair still looks great just from brushing it in the morning, I didn't even use the highest heat setting, just the one it auto sets to. I think I am in love with a styling tool. My hair doesn't feel as great as the first day so I think it's time for another run through but still, wow! RIF6 Wireless headphones

Hey everyone! So I have been wanting some Bluetooth headphones so I can tune out the kiddos whilst accomplishing some housework (with daddy home of course). These are not Bluetooth headphones but for around the house they may be a better option. Now right off the bat these impressed me. You see, as my husband so eloquently puts it I have a "freakishly small head".

I can wear my kids hats and kids headphones generally work better than regular size ones do even on the smallest settings except of course the ear part are too small. These fit me perfectly on the smallest setting. I also have looked up reviews for other wireless headphones such as these and usually they are not good. The material of the headphones are very nice. They are soft and comfortable and not too heavy. The set up is very easy. You put your batteries in your right headset. You plug your _______(whatever you want to listen to) into your transmitter with the cord that has the red and black splitter on one end. Plug in your transmitter and turn on your headset (and you know what ever you are wanting to listen to) and you are good to go. You have volume settings on your headphones. I do suggest turning up the devices volume first since as it isn't Bluetooth it doesn't manipulate your device. The downside of this is of course you can't change tracks or pause/play/stop anything like that from the headset. The plus side is you don't have to have your device close to the headphones. The range is amazing. Were I in a middle unit I could easily listen to my headphones in the 6 apartments around plus my own (upstairs, downstairs and any of the four sides) as I can easily walk well past my neighbors apartment and in fact around my whole building without losing signal. Do be warned though it is easier to hold onto the signal than it is to get it back once its lost. The sound is great. I haven't found it to get deafeningly loud but I've only used it with my phone on the amazon music app and YouTube so far. It does pick up parts of songs I hadn't noticed before which is pretty cool. My favorite parts are for one it blocks out other sound when they are playing. For two with my phone hooked into the transmitter, it doesn't time itself out like it does when I connect if to a Bluetooth speaker. The recharging is also really easy as you simply set the speakers on the transmitter when you are finished listening to them. With the battery life these have I think it would be hard to kill them. It also comes with a cord so you can use them as regular speakers (which don't seem to use power on the off chance you do kill them.) Do be warned that these are (by my estimate) like 10 feet long so you may want to get a shorter cord if you plan on using them wired with an iPod or something. I am really enjoying this headphone set. Does it get rid of my need for a set of Bluetooth headphones? No. I would like to be able to grab a pair of headphones and connect them to whatever I'm using at the time without having to plug anything in and to take on walks with me but for getting housework done these are awesome and I don't think that Bluetooth headphones would replace them either. They simply have different uses. Plus I could connect these to the TV in case I wanted to watch at night without disturbing anyone and that I couldn't do with Bluetooth. All in all I think these are great. I don't know if you can connect multiple headsets to this one I know some you can though so maybe. If you would like a set for yourself you can pick it up here.

Dr. Hana's Nasopure Nasal Wash System

Hey everyone! So after much debate and many many sinus issues during my first pregnancy that I couldn't treat with medication, (they say Sudafed is safe but I don't trust that, I know how it makes me feel) after many miserable colds I decided to try a neti pot. I was very surprised that I actually loved it. I mean of course its weird I mean you are dumping water through your sinuses. But it just gently clears out all the stuff that is in there and I think it keeps it clear for longer than simply blowing your nose. So I was kind of excited to try this instead of pouring the water its more like a sports bottle and they say kids can use it too. I always wished my kids could use my neti pot given the comfort it always gives me so I was stoked. Now the packs are double the size of the ones I've had previously. I don't like this, it forces you to either use the double strength dose or have an open pack of stuff to eventually put up your nose later. I prefer using two packs if I feel I need it to this method. The solution itself is very mild feeling despite being double strength I assume because of it being buffered. I would buy the packs again for using when I need a stronger solution. Now the bottle itself is where I find the biggest issue. Now it says it is the only system that you can use with your head upright. I tried that and despite my best efforts I just kept ending up with a throat full of solution and a stuffy sinus. It also says children will automatically close their throat so I let my son try it. He was a trooper and went for it several times but it made him gag and cough each time so I can't really suggest it for children to use it either. I did however find a use for the bottle, though its really limited to women (guys, stop reading) 




For women who use menstrual cups this is perfect for cleaning them out without needing to use a sink or paper. The angle of the bottle plus the ability to squirt it out hard makes it seem as if this is what it was made for. It can even be carried around in your purse full without leaking and holds enough water that you could clean it twice without needing to fill it (though I always refill it after) so I would definitely suggest buying this for that reason.




OK guys its safe again. So I personally have had mixed results with this personally but that shouldn't stop you from trying it. Squirting water up my nose just doesn't work as well as simply letting it force itself through there by way or gravity but that's just me. All and all it is a very well made quality product. The packaging is nice and since you can close it you can save some for later (although warm works best for me)  I was able to use it to use small drops of the saliene solution to loosen up my two year olds nose crust so there is that too. Coosh CBT791B Ultra-Slick Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker

Hey everyone! Finally I have something I can compare to something else I've reviewed!!!

When I first received this I was blown away by the style of the speaker.

Something about that off rectangle shape, the tire tread like rubber coating and the bright orange trim just scream style. The other Bluetooth speaker I have just seems drab in comparison. I also really like the buttons, one big power button makes it east to connect and disconnect from your device while the other buttons which really just look like pictures of buttons lend to the overall functionality by allowing me to (without memorizing codes, patterns or methods) turn the volume up and down, play, pause, and skip songs easily without needing to touch my tablet or phone. The sound quality is awesome.

It is much louder and I can be heard much more clearly when using in conjunction with my ps3 than any other bluetooth device I have. It also has a Bluetooth button on it which I honestly haven't pressed yet for fear of shutting off the Bluetooth and not being able to get it back on, though it might mean I can switch what device it is connected to without finding the culprit and shutting off its Bluetooth. I'll have to try that theory out later. Now I thought the other speaker had a mini USB port for charging but I guess it was more like the charger for my PlayStation controllers where this one is actually a mini USB, and it holds its charge just as well as the other one despite being used pretty much daily for mini dance parties and online gaming. In fact I almost forgot to review this because it has become such a fixture in our home. I'm not gonna lie I'm buying one as soon as I get a second PlayStation. Nova RiF6 5000 mah portable battery charger

Hey everyone! So I'm hoping you enjoyed whatever holidays the season has brought you, me I'm a little behind and a little confused by it as I thought I already did this but the holidays are crazy so maybe I got mixed up lol. Anyway I have been wanting a portable battery charger for awhile.

Mostly for my vaporshark DNA30 cause the battery life sucks on it and I thought it would help to let me use that mod out of the house. Of course by the time I got the thing I was on to bigger and better things in the vape world but with so many options on things to charge it wasn't hard to try several things. First off it does come with a USB to mini USB charger that works both ways you can charge this with it and then keep the cord with it to charge your phone or tablet or mod even later on. Considering 5000mah is not that much in terms of power to a tablet I'd say it does fairly well getting my dead tablet of to about 25% battery life. My phone of course owing to the fact of having a smaller battery faired better but it still wasn't enough to fully charge it. On top of that it doesn't actually charge any faster than plugging it into a wall (probably a bit slower but it says port 2 allows for 2a so maybe I should have compared that to port 1 as well given it says 1a) but for times that you are simply without options and need power its pretty nice. Its not too big or heavy to keep on you and it holds its battery charge very well. I don't see it having practical every day uses but would recommend having a couple in strategic locations just in case you need to make a phone call in a pinch after Facebook drained your battery.
